In the Hindu religion there is a holy tree called Tulsi (Indian Basel). It is in front of everyone’s house. I practice prayer in front of it and light the area with candles every day back in India. As my practice is based on everyday life memory that beholds, here this tulsi tree is a symbolic representation of recreating the past. This minimal approach is to show the soothing feeling of an empty space with a richness of activities.
